WHY IT COUNTERS PRIMAL BEAST
Freezes his cooldowns
Time Dilation stops Primal Beast's low cooldown spells from coming back and slows him down.
Walks out of the burst
Faceless Void can Time Walk out of Trample or Onslaught, avoiding the burst and healing the damage, so Primal Beast struggles to stick to him.
Isolates him in Chronosphere
Faceless Void scales well as a carry and can trap the tanky but immobile Primal Beast in Chronosphere for an easy kill.

WHY IT COUNTERS PRIMAL BEAST
Roots stop his charges
Pit of Malice roots Primal Beast in place, interrupting Onslaught and stopping Trample damage at every stage of the game.
Burns through his health
Firestorm's waves and burn deal high total damage to tanky strength heroes, making long fights painful for Primal Beast.
Saves the team
Fiend's Gate moves Underlord's whole team away from a bad fight or into a better spot, so Primal Beast's initiation rarely sticks.
